OUR POLICIES

Please note The kuka’s Fashion & Design requires a waiver form to be signed for all participants under eighteen years of age by their parent or guardian prior to attending a class, camp or workshop with The Kuka’s Fashion & Design
We take our policies seriously, please read our policies for classes, camps, workshops and birthday parties below prior to registering:

1. CLASSES & COURSES MULTI-WEEK - CANCELLATION, REFUND, MAKE-UP AND EXCHANGE POLICY

1. Seats in our classes are based on availability and require registration as well as a non-refundable deposit of 30 percent of the total class fee. This deposit is non-refundable and reserves a seat in the class for your child.
 

2. Kuka’s Fashion & Design cancel a class a refund will be made in full within 10 business days.
 

3. Your child's registration can be transferred to another class time or day with one week notice (based on availability). Transfer must be of equal value.
 

4. Should you need to cancel your registration for any reason one week prior to the start date of the class Kuka’s Fashion &Design will process a refund (less the non-refundable deposit) within 10 business days.
 

5. Deposits/payment cannot be transferred to another student. 
 

6. Balance is due at the start of class. 
 

7. We do not take registrations on a trial basis; we offer one-day seasonal workshops and private lessons and welcome students to take an introductory lesson prior to registering for a full course. . We do not pro-rate classes but offer make-up options for missed sewing classes.
 

8. Make Up Policy: We understand life happens! In order to keep your child's fashion education on track we can accommodate up to two make up classes per course for Fashion Design and Sewing Class (kids and teens). Make up classes are taken during another sewing class time and require advance scheduling so that we're ready with your child's project and any special instruction for the teacher. 

9. Bookings must be made at least 2 days prior to the start of the class or course in order for us to be prepared for your child. We usually like to keep a certain number of students to teacher ratio. 

2. CAMPS - CANCELLATION, REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

1. Seats in our school break & summer camps are based on availability and do require registration as well as a deposit of 30 percent of the total registration fee. This deposit is non-refundable and reserves a seat in camp for your child. One day camp fees of $100 or less require payment in full at time of registration.
 

2. Should Kuka’s Fashion & Design cancel camp a refund will be made in full within 10 business days.
 

3. Cancellation & Refunds (Camp only)

      Should you need to cancel your child's registration for any reason one month prior to the start date of camp Kuka’s Fashion & Design will process a refund (less the non-refundable deposit) within 10 business days. 

   

 15-30 days until the session start date, 50% refund 

 2 weeks prior to start of camp session, 25% refund
 

4.Kuka’s Fashion & Design does not pro-rate camp weeks for missed days or time. 
 

5. Up to 2 make up camp days may be scheduled for dates missed due to illness with a doctor's note. Make-up camp date(s) must be in the same season (i.e. fall, winter, spring or summer) of the missed date(s).
 

6. Your child's registration can be transferred to another class time or day with three weeks notice (based on availability). Transfer must be of equal value. Deposits/payment cannot be transferred to another student. 
 

7. Balance is due one month prior to camp start.
 

8. Any no-shows will forfeit their camp fee. Please let us know as soon as possible if your child will not be able to join us.

3. WORKSHOPS - CANCELLATION, REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY

1. Seats in our one day workshops are based on availability and do require payment in full at time of registration.
 

2. Should Kuka’s Fashion & Design cancel a workshop a refund will be made in full within 10 business days.
 

3. Cancellation & Refunds (workshop only): Should you need to cancel your child's registration for any reason one month prior to the start date of the workshop Kuka’s Fashion & Design will process a refund within 10 business days. 
 

4. Your child's registration can be transferred to another workshop with three weeks notice (based on availability). Transfer must be of equal value. 
 

5. Payment cannot be transferred to another student. 
 

6. Any no-shows will forfeit their workshop fee. Please let us know as soon as possible if your child will not be able to join us.

4. BIRTHDAY PARTIES & GROUP EVENTS - CANCELLATION, REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY

1. All parties/events require a non-refundable $250 deposit to reserve our studio. The balance is due the day of your party or event. Birthday party or special event cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
 

2. We require three weeks advance notice for any date or time changes. Kuka’s Fashion & Design will do our best to accommodate your requested date based on availability provided your new date is within three months of the original date. 
 

3. Our birthday party prices are per child. We will contact you 48 hrs prior to your child’s party to get a final guest count; this is the number we will use when determining your balance. You will be charged for any extra guests who may not have rsvp’d.
 

4. Please be as accurate as possible when determining your guest count.  Kuka’s Fashion & Design may not be able to accommodate a guest

increase of more than five participants.
 

5. PRIVATE LESSONS - CANCELLATION, REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY

1. All private lessons require payment in full at time of booking. Lessons over $100 require a non-refundable 30% deposit to reserve your date and time with an instructor. The balance is due the day of your lesson. Private Lesson cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
 

2. We require 48 hours advance notice for any date or time changes.  Kuka’s Fashion & Design will do our best to accommodate your requested date based on availability, provided your new date is within one month of the original date.

6.  PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy sets out how  Kuka’s Fashion & Design uses and protects any information that you give Kuka’s Fashion & Design when you use this website. Kuka’s Fashion & Design is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Kuka’s Fashion & Design may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.

 

We may collect the following information:

  • Your name

  • Student’s first name and age

  • Contact information including phone and email address
     

What we do with the information we gather
 

We require this information to complete reservations for our services, to understand your needs and provide you with a better service. We may use the information to improve our products and services. We may periodically send promotional email about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. We will never sell your information.
